This 100,000 SF lab, office, and courtyard buildout spans two buildings and three floors. The project includes a BSL-3 lab suite with N+1 redundant HVAC, three new 500 kW generators, a full ERRCS installation, and new roofing on both buildings. Additionally, all mechanical and process plumbing equipment was replaced, including VAC, CDA, DI systems, and hookups for Argon and CO2. The office buildout features spacious collaboration and meeting areas, a café, a two-story boardroom with a green wall and curtain wall system, a redesigned entry stairwell, and an open/exposed ceiling design throughout. Exterior improvements include a new semi-enclosed glass breezeway connecting the two buildings, a large redwood deck and patio area with a trellis, and new entrance canopies at all main building entrances.
